Register to Vote!

This page can be utilized to register to vote in whatever state you reside or to check your current voter registration status. You can also always register to vote in person by filling out a voter registration form and mailing it or submitting it to certain government offices. If you’d like a Massachusetts voter registration form you can ask our staff and they can provide you with one!

Find Your Representative

This website can be used to find your representatives at every level of government, from the President down to your town council. While we’re showcasing the Senate elections here at the Institute, there are still plenty of elections at the local and state level this November that you can vote in that can have great effects on your local communities!

Ballotpedia is a great resource to learn about Government, elections, and even candidates and their specific positions. You can look up a specific election, either contemporary or historic, as well as candidates both past and present. Oftentimes candidates may even submit their own profiles and policies to an election page to better help individuals learn about who they are, why they’re running and what is important to them.

OpenSecrets

Open Secrets is a website to find financial information/data about political candidates. You can look up particular candidates and see what people or organizations have donated to them. In the wake of Citizens United vs FEC political donations have skyrocketed and part of being an engaged citizen is understanding where candidates receive their money and backing from.
