Issue Investigation: Fracking
In this activity students will investigate the issue of fracking, a way of using high-
pressured liquid, sand, and chemicals to crack rock far underground and remove oil, coal, and gas. Students will consider the pros and cons of fracking to decide for themselves whether fracking’s potential economic benefits are outweighed by its high environmental cost.
